Hotel Dreams – K West Hotel & Spa

1. Exterior of K West Hotel & SpaHey lovelies! Well it has been a crazy few days for me in London and I am only just (24 hours later) feeling settled and sorted back home after an amazing time doing all things ‘blogger’ with my friend Kayleigh :) London always seems to leave me absolutely shattered but kinda in a good way haha!

As some of you guys may have already seen from my Snapchat and Instagram posts myself and Kayleigh were lucky enough to stay at the beautiful K West Hotel & Spa in Sheperds Bush on Wednesday night while we were up in London, we had such a wonderful stay with them that I wanted to do this post to share some images and a little background information with you all about the hotel itself just incase any of you are looking for nice hotels to book into in central London in the future – this place is a thumbs up from me!!

Let’s start with some background info….

The hotel itself is soon urban and chick looking, modern yet somehow seems to hold so much character and history to it. We found out soon after arriving that the hotel actually used to be the BBC Building Kensington House back in the 60’s and an endless list of rock n roll celebs such as Bob Marley and The Kinks have played and stayed at the hotel – how cool!!!

One of the great things I loved about this hotels vibe is that it oozes fun and action yet also very much caters to those looking for a super relaxing and luxurious getaway in a completely central and prime location. With easy access to main transport lines and great surroundings such as Westfield shopping centre which was literally a 2 minutes walk away we honestly could not fault the location!

The rooms themselves were beautiful, fresh and clean. They are so well equipped with the most up to date technology such as LCD Flat screen TV’s, touch screen phones that had 3g loaded up for guests to use and iPads which made room service sooo damn easy!! The beds are so wonderfully oversized, the decor was classic yet vibrant and the rooms were so spacious and comfortable :)

We ordered an incredible breakfast in the morning (using our iPad) and this was delivered to our room on the time we had asked for it, still piping hot and perfectly cooked we tucked in to the breakfast of dreams and snuggled up some more drinking our coffee in bed – honestly it was just bliss :) some pictures of our room and food are below:

  The Spa

So this section needed a little subheading as OMGGGG it is just amazing!! Annoyingly though Kayleigh and I stupidly both forgot to bring our bikinis (always have to forget something important when packing arghh) however we did get chance before we left the hotel to pop down and have a look at the facilities their spa has and oh my it is truly amazing!

This place honestly offers everything you could possibly need from a spa, and more!! They have this super cool room called the Sun Meadow room which is basically a daylight treatment therapy room which is used to treat SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder. Other facilities include an incredible Snow Paridise room which mimics the Finnish experiencer of alternating between freezing and steamy environments, hydro pools, saunas, nail bar, aromatic herbal steam room and a full equipped gym!! We were so gutted not to have been able to fully utilise the spa during our stay but we cannot wait to go back there and visit it all properly again soon :)

Have included some professional pictures of the spa below for you guys to get an idea:

Hope you guys enjoyed this post and if you are looking for a nice place to stay in London for some luxury and relaxation then please give this hotel a try, you won’t regret it I promise 😉

Lots of love,
